Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport (or Kampala hotel) by your Sauti Africa Explorers guide. Briefing about your upcoming safari adventure. Start the scenic drive to Bwindi (8–9 hours) through rolling hills, local villages, tea plantations, and beautiful countryside. Lunch stop en route in Mbarara town. Optional stop at the Equator for photos and a coffee break.
Arrive at your lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable Forest; relax and prepare for your gorilla trek the next day.

Day 2
Gorilla Trekking – Face to Face with Gentle Giants
Gorilla Trekking – Face to Face with Gentle Giants
Early breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing by rangers. Begin your trek (2–6 hours, depending on gorilla location) through dense rainforest and steep slopes. Spend one magical hour observing a habituated gorilla family: watch them feed, play, and interact. Afternoon optional activities: visit a local Batwa (pygmy) community, guided village walk, or relax at the lodge with a view of the misty forest.

Day 3
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha
After breakfast, drive through the scenic “neck” of Bwindi towards the southern Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park (4–5 hours). Afternoon game drive in Ishasha, famous for its unique tree-climbing lions, often lounging on fig trees.
Continue to the northern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park for the overnight.

Day 4

Early morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, searching for elephants, buffalo, Uganda kobs, leopards, and, with luck, lions on the hunt. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel: get close to hippos, crocodiles, bathing elephants, buffaloes, and abundant birdlife (African fish eagles, pelicans, kingfishers). Sunset views over the water as you return, with an optional night game drive.
