Your tour starts today with a transfer from Kigali, Rwanda to Kibale National Park in Uganda. You will be picked up from the Airport but if you are already in Kigali, you will be picked up from your hotel. The journey through the hilly country side of Rwanda and all the way into Uganda is scenic and you will be amazed to be at the lodge in a short while. Once at the lodge, you can rest from the long journey or take a walk to stretch your legs. You will have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2

This day, you will have an early morning breakfast and then drive to the park headquarters at Kanyanchu for briefing about your chimpanzee adventure today. Please carry enough drinking water and a lunch pack. Once you have been divided into groups of 8 each, you will enter into the forest with a ranger guide in search of these amazing primates. You will spend a magical hour of learning and interacting with the gorillas after which, you will return to the starting point. You will then proceed on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for an ultimate gorilla experience. You will have lunch along the way.

Day 3

Gorilla trekking and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Gorilla trekking and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, you will head out to the pristine jungle of Bwindi for the ultimate gorilla adventure. You will have a briefing and then you will be divided into groups of 8 to enter into the forest. Please carry enough drinking water and a packed lunch. Once you locate the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them and you can take as many pictures as you want. Rain gear will be important as Bwindi is a tropical rainforest and it can pour any time of the day. At a small fee of 20 US Dollars, you will be able to hire a potter to assist you in the difficult areas of the hike. Thereafter, you will transfer to Volcanoes National Park. You will have dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Come with us to Volcanoes National Park for golden monkey trekking this morning. To some, this is considered the second best thing after gorilla trekking and you will be amused by these playful bamboo associated primates. Once you are finished with the golden monkeys, you will head to the Ibyi'wachu cultural village for a cultural immersion experience. This will be much dependent on the time you have and you will be transferred to Kigali. We hope you have had a wonderful time on safari with us.
