Early Migration Safari & Scenic Drive to Crater Rim

Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Rise early for a morning game drive around Ndutu Lake and the short grass plains, when predators are most active and newborns take their first wobbly steps. Keep an eye out for cheetahs hunting or lion prides roaming through golden light. After lunch, begin your scenic drive toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at your crater rim lodge by evening. Enjoy sweeping views over the caldera and a peaceful highland retreat as you prepare for tomorrow’s descent into Africa’s Eden.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Town
After breakfast, descend 600 meters into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater for a final game drive. This natural amphitheater is home to over 30,000 animals, including endangered black rhinos, large tusker elephants, buffalo, lions, flamingos, and hippos. Its diverse habitats—from swampy marshes to grasslands—offer some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa. After a picnic lunch by a hippo pool, journey back to Arusha town for your drop-off and farewell to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.
