After lunch, begin your scenic drive toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at your crater rim lodge by evening. After breakfast, descend 600 meters into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater for a final game drive. This natural amphitheater is home to over 30,000 animals, including endangered black rhinos, large tusker elephants, buffalo, lions, flamingos, and hippos. Its diverse habitats—from swampy marshes to grasslands—offer some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa. After a picnic lunch by a hippo pool, journey back to Arusha town for your drop-off and farewell to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.
