Day 2

After breakfast, scenic drive (2.5 hours) to Tarangire National Park. Enter a landscape famous for giant ancient baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Morning and afternoon game drives: spot buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and predators like lions and leopards. Visit the Tarangire River – lifeline for wildlife, especially during the dry season. Optional: cultural visit to a Maasai village for insights into traditional life.

Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park – Flamingos & Forest

Drive to Lake Manyara (1.5 hours). Morning game drive through diverse habitats: groundwater forest, open savannah, and the alkaline lake. Look for tree-climbing lions, huge troops of baboons, hippos wallowing, and flocks of flamingos painting the lake pink. Afternoon cultural walk in Mto wa Mbu village: discover banana plantations, local markets, and Tanzanian daily life. Return to the lodge perched on the Rift Valley escarpment with stunning sunset views.

Afternoon game drive in the Seronera Valley: look for leopards lounging in sausage trees, lions on the hunt, and graceful cheetahs. Arrive at your tented camp or lodge as the sun sets over the plains.

Early morning (pre-dawn) game drive to catch predators as they finish the night hunt. Return for breakfast, then head out to explore the central Serengeti or northern corridor, depending on the migration season. Witness massive herds of wildebeest and zebra (seasonal) – or focus on resident wildlife: elephants, hippos, buffalo, giraffes, and big cats. Optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise, followed by a champagne breakfast (extra cost). Afternoon break, then sunset game drive to photograph the magical golden light.
