Start your day early with a 6:00 AM hotel pick-up (time varies by location) for your 8:00 AM flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, landing at 9:15 AM. Meet your friendly driver-guide and set off on a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, as your guide shares stories about Arusha and Maasai culture. Tarangire is famous for its giant baobabs, large elephant herds, and diverse landscapes from seasonal swamps to open savannahs, with the Tarangire River running through. Look out for lions stalking prey or leopards relaxing in trees. Enjoy your packed lunch inside the park and continue your game drive into the afternoon. By 4:00 PM, your safari ends and you’ll head to your lodge for relaxation. As evening falls, unwind with a delicious dinner and soak in the sights and sounds of the African wilderness before your overnight stay.
