1-Day Gorilla Trek from Kigali to Bwindi

• A transfer from the airport can be arranged for an extra cost.

You’ll begin with a ranger briefing around 8:00 AM at the Bwindi park headquarters, where you’ll review safety rules and etiquette before being assigned to a small trekking group. Dressed in comfortable trekking gear and armed with walking sticks, you and experienced trackers will embark into the dense forest. Depending on the gorilla family’s location, the trek can last anywhere from 2 to 6 hours. Once the gorillas are found, you’ll enjoy a magical hour observing them—watching them feed, interact, and move gracefully in their natural habitat—a truly unforgettable wildlife experience

After your hour with the gorillas, you'll make your way back to the trailhead, where you'll receive a trek completion certificate. Then you'll rejoin your driver and set off on the return journey to Kigali or Entebbe, reflecting on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
