Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

A Venture Africa representative will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the office to finalize and brief you on your upcoming safari program. You will then be dropped at the departure point, where you will meet the group and begin your safari to Masai Mara National Reserve via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and Narok town for lunch. Upon arrival, you will proceed on a game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver-guide. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will set out for a full-day game drive in the reserve. The landscape is a scenic stretch of savannah grassland on rolling hills. Masai Mara is the best park in Kenya for game viewing, with an extensive road and track network that allows for close-range encounters. You will break for a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, where you can look out for hippos and crocodiles. Later, you will return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve - Maasai Village - Nairobi

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide and proceed to a nearby Maasai village for cultural activities. Afterward, you will depart for Nairobi, stopping for lunch on the way and arriving in the evening in time for drop off at your hotel.

Nairobi - Arusha

After breakfast, we will depart from Nairobi to Arusha with the AM Shuttle Bus through the Namanga Border for immigration formalities, arriving in the afternoon. You will be taken to The Charity Hotel (or similar), which will be booked on a bed and breakfast basis. This is a free day in Arusha, and you can choose to explore the city or simply relax at the hotel.

Arusha - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, your driver will pick you up from your hotel, where you will meet the rest of the group traveling with you. You will proceed to Serengeti National Park with lunch en route. Later, enjoy an afternoon game drive. The Serengeti is always one of the most popular national parks in Tanzania. The Great Migration here includes wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle in search of fresh grazing. Wildlife in the Serengeti includes buffalo, giraffe, eland, impala, Grant’s gazelle, lion, cheetah, leopard, and African jackal, among others. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.
