½-Day Arusha National Park Trip

You'll leave from Arusha town around 6:00 AM to maximize your day.
Arrival and game drive:
You'll arrive at the park entrance by 7:00 AM.
You'll start with a morning game drive through the lush forests and open plains.
Look out for wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, and various antelopes.
Keep an eye out for primates like colobus monkeys and blue monkeys.
Visit the Momella Lakes:
Around mid-morning, you'll head to the nearby Momella Lakes, famous for flamingos and other waterbirds.
You'll enjoy birdwatching and photography.
Many tour operators provide packed lunches, or you can bring your own.
Find a designated picnic spot with a view of the landscape.
Afternoon activities:
You'll continue exploring or take a short guided walk if available.
You'll visit the Ngurdoto Crater, known as the "Little Serengeti," for more wildlife viewing and views.
You'll head back to Arusha town in the late afternoon, around 4:00-5:00 PM.
