Flight from Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

Early at 6:00 am (pick-up time depends on your hotel’s location in Zanzibar), your driver will take you to the airport for the 8:00 am flight to Central Serengeti (Seronera Airstrip). You’ll arrive around 10:40 am, where your guide will welcome you, and your game drive will begin.

Central Serengeti is famous for its rich wildlife, especially the Big Five. It hosts one of Africa’s largest lion populations, with over 3,000 lions. Elusive leopards are often seen in the Seronera area, which is also home to about 1,000 elephants.

Each day includes a packed lunch at a picnic site inside the park. Game drives last about six hours, ending around 5:00 pm. Dinner is served between 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm.

After a peaceful night surrounded by the sounds of nature, you will wake up to the songs and chirping of birds in the heart of the Serengeti. After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you will head out for a game drive at 7:00 am.

Today will be dedicated to searching for the famous Big Five: lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos. Central Serengeti is renowned for its rich wildlife, offering great opportunities for game viewing and photography.

In the late afternoon, you will transfer to your accommodation near Lake Manyara for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park, nestled in the Great Rift Valley, is famous for its diverse landscapes and wildlife. Spot tree-climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, and many bird species around the alkaline lake. Explore both lush forests and open savannahs on this captivating game drive.

Later, you’ll transfer to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 PM flight back to Zanzibar, arriving around 5:45 PM.
