Arusha to Tarangire Safari Journey

Your adventure begins with a morning flight from Dar es Salaam to Arusha, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by a Visit Creation Safaris representative. From there, embark on a scenic 2-hour drive to the wildlife-rich Tarangire National Park.

Renowned for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers a stunning introduction to Tanzania’s natural beauty. As you explore the park, you may also catch a glimpse of the Maasai people herding their livestock along the edges of this vibrant ecosystem. Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch inside the park before continuing your game drive through the diverse landscapes.

As the sun begins to set, you’ll head to your lodge or campsite for a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Sunrise Safari and Journey to Ngorongoro Crater

Start your day with an early breakfast at the lodge before setting off on a direct drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, your guide will handle park entry formalities, and you’ll descend into the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater—a vast volcanic caldera plunging 600 meters (2,000 feet) deep and spanning approximately 250 km² (97 mi²).

Embark on an unforgettable 6-hour game drive across the crater floor, guided through stunning landscapes teeming with wildlife. This unique ecosystem is home to lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, and the critically endangered black rhino. Midday, you'll pause for a scenic packed lunch at Lake Ngoitoktok, where you can relax while observing hippos lounging in the water.

As the adventure winds down, you’ll ascend from the crater and begin your return drive to Arusha, where you'll catch your evening flight back to Dar es Salaam, bringing your safari to a perfect close.
