The scenic 2.5-hour drive takes you through local villages, farmlands, and eventually into a landscape marked by rolling hills and massive baobab trees, often referred to as the “upside-down trees.” Tarangire is famous for its large herds of elephants and its picturesque setting along the Tarangire River, which serves as a year-round water source for wildlife. Your guide will lead you through the park, stopping for thrilling sightings of lions, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, impalas, ostriches, and possibly even elusive leopards. Journey to Serengeti – Through the Great Rift to the Great Plains

Today, you set off for the crown jewel of African safari—Serengeti National Park. Your journey takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a breathtaking drive through forested highlands, Maasai villages, and volcanic vistas. As you cross the plains into the Serengeti, you begin to understand why its name means “endless plains” in the Maasai language. This is the stage for the Great Migration—the largest animal movement on Earth—and a land filled with life. After lunch, begin your first Serengeti game drive, with chances to spot cheetahs, Zebras, giraffes, elephants, hippos, and even the elusive leopard. With luck, you’ll witness dramatic wildlife behaviors—like lions stalking prey or hyenas scavenging.

As the sun sets, arrive at Sidai Serengeti Camp, a comfortable tented camp located deep in the wilderness.

As the day unfolds, your guide will tailor the route based on seasonal wildlife movements and your interests. Depending on the time of year, you may witness herds of wildebeest crossing rivers, lion cubs playing in the grass, or vultures circling above fresh kills. Midday, enjoy a bush lunch at a scenic spot before continuing your exploration. In the afternoon, stop to observe hippos wallowing in muddy pools or perhaps visit the hippo pool lookout.

After an exhilarating day, return to camp, take a hot shower, and gather for dinner under the stars. This is the Serengeti at its finest—raw, beautiful, and unforgettable.
