Spice Tour & Prison Island Visit

After breakfast, your day begins with a guided Spice Tour, where you’ll explore one of Zanzibar’s famous spice farms. Walk through lush plantations as your guide introduces you to the island’s aromatic treasures—cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, and more while learning about their uses and historical importance. You’ll also get a chance to taste fresh tropical fruits and local herbal teas straight from the source. In the afternoon, you’ll set off by boat to Prison Island (Changuu Island), once used to detain rebellious slaves and later as a quarantine station. Today, it’s home to a sanctuary for giant Aldabra tortoises some over 100 years old. Enjoy time exploring the island and relaxing on its white sandy beach, with optional swimming and snorkeling in the surrounding coral waters. After your return to Stone Town, spend the evening at leisure and overnight again at Tembo Hotel.
