Depart early from Kampala or Entebbe and drive southwest through Uganda’s scenic countryside, passing tea plantations and traditional villages. Enjoy a lunch stop in Mbarara before continuing to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive in the afternoon and check in to your comfortable midrange lodge. Later, head out for an afternoon game drive to spot elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, and antelopes.
