Rise early and drive to the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa. Begin your wildlife viewing right from your luxurious tented camp - its waterhole attracts a wide variety of game day and night. This afternoon, hop aboard an open-topped safari vehicle with your knowledgeable safari guide to spot both the endangered black and northern white rhino and their fellow brethren of the Big Five. The density of wildlife here is greater than any of Kenya’s national parks. While further tracking the rhinos, your guide will point out other rare species including Grevy's zebra and the Jackson's hartebeest. Visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only sanctuary for chimps in Eastern Africa, and learn about its mission to provide lifelong refuge to orphaned and abused chimpanzees from central and Western Africa. In the evening gather for sundowners and take in the stunning views of Mount Kenya.

This morning follow in the soft tracks of the elephants as you move north to the arid Samburu Reserve. In the afternoon meet your guide for a game viewing drive along the life-giving river. Watch out for crocodiles sharing the banks with elephants, lions, buffalo and even the leopard comes down to drink. Encounter the red-robed Samburu people, still practicing their ancient ways.

While exploring with your guide on morning and afternoon game viewing drives, continue to build your gallery of photos as you spot the rare wildlife only found north of the equator, the special 5- Reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa Oryx, the Gerenuk and Somali ostrich. On this day, you will also have a chance to visit a Samburu village and mingle with the tribe as you learn more about their fascinating culture and traditions. Feel free to join the young Warriors jumping and the women dancing as they celebrate your visit. The Samburu people are the cousins of the Maasai tribe and they share the same customs and traditions.

After a leisurely breakfast, you will drive back towards Mt Kenya region and into the world renown Fairmont Mt Kenya safari club. The Park protects over 450 bird species and 15,000 wild animals. Day 9

The following day, you will drive deeper into the park for a game viewing drive. Lake Nakuru National Park is a designated rhino sanctuary, and it is one of the best places in Kenya to observe them. Both black and white Rhinos thrive here. Besides the greater and lesser flamingos, the park is home to many other birds’ species including, the Great Crested Grebe, the black necked Grebe, little Grebe, Pelicans, Cormorant, African Darter, Egyptian Geese, night Heron, Fish Eagle, grey Heron, Marabou stork, Sacred and Hadada Ibis. Waterbucks are usually sighted along the lake shore, and this is the home of the Rothschild’s giraffe. Baboon, impala, buffalo, monkeys, warthog, impala, reedbuck, and eland are also resident here.
After the game drive return to the camp for lunch. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure to enjoy the Camp facilities such as swimming. Nature walks, Biking, horseback riding safari and boat safaris are available at extra cost.

Spend this last morning in Nakuru admiring the unspoiled Africa as you prepare to return to Nairobi. Bid farewell to the Lodge/Camp staff and the entire team you met here in Kenya. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, the rest of the day at leisure. Later in the evening you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
