Day 1

Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or airport in the morning and then drive to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is famous for its scenery, featuring the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro dominating the landscape and open plains. Upon arrival, enjoy a short game drive before proceeding to your camp. After lunch at the camp, you’ll go on an afternoon game drive in the park, which is home to large herds of elephants and other wildlife. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will spend a full day at Amboseli National Park with both morning and afternoon game drives. The park is also home to buffaloes. You can relax at the lodge and participate in optional activities such as swimming, nature walks, or a visit to a Maasai village. Lunch will be served. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

You will go on an early morning game drive, then return for breakfast. After breakfast, depart Amboseli for Tsavo East, renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man-eating lions. You’ll proceed to your camp in Tsavo East for lunch and check in after an en-route game drive. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park, then return for dinner and your overnight stay at the camp.

After an early morning game drive you will return to your lodge for breakfast then depart Tsavo East for Tsavo West with a game drive en route. Along the way you will visit Mzima Springs, where you can see hippos and fish in crystal-clear water, with possible sightings of crocodiles and monkeys. You will arrive at the camp in time for lunch, then proceed on an afternoon game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay at the camp.

After breakfast, you will enjoy an en route game drive in the park, looking out for more wildlife and attractions as you depart for the train station to catch your train to Mombasa. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the resort for accommodations on a half-board basis.
