Arusha to Tarangire

Depart Arusha in the morning with your private safari guide and drive to Tarangire National Park. Spend the day exploring a landscape known for its ancient baobab trees, large elephant herds and the Tarangire River. Look for lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and numerous bird species during your game drive. Later in the afternoon, leave the park and continue to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay at your accommodation.

Mto wa Mbu to Lake Manyara

After breakfast, drive to nearby Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive through its diverse landscapes, from groundwater forest and woodland to open areas around the lake. Search for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, monkeys, hippos and abundant birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day before continuing your game drive. Later in the afternoon, leave the park and drive through the Great Rift Valley highlands to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, depart Karatu and enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater. Spend the day exploring the crater floor, home to lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, wildebeest, zebras and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before continuing your game drive. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha for an overnight stay.

Kilimanjaro Day-Hike

After breakfast, drive from Arusha to the Kilimanjaro National Park entrance to begin your day hike on Mount Kilimanjaro. After registration, follow your mountain guide through the lush rainforest, enjoying the changing vegetation, mountain scenery and possibility of seeing monkeys and colourful birdlife. Reach the designated day-hike point, enjoy lunch and take time to appreciate the surroundings before descending along the trail. Later, meet your driver for the transfer back to Arusha, marking the end of your safari and Kilimanjaro experience.
