Upon arrival at either Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, our team will be there to warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. If time permits, based on your arrival schedule, you’ll have the option to enjoy an Arusha city tour, which may include visits to the renowned Cultural Heritage art gallery, bustling local markets, and the vibrant Maasai Market—perfect for picking up unique souvenirs.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 a.m. for a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, some of the largest on the continent.

From the open roof of your safari vehicle, you’ll explore the park’s rich landscapes, including seasonal swamps, savanna plains, and the Tarangire River, which attracts an abundance of wildlife. Expect to encounter a wide variety of species such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, impalas, elands, warthogs, lions, leopards, and over 500 species of birds.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at Matete picnic site, offering beautiful views over the river, before continuing with your afternoon game drive. Later, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the wilderness.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu

Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu

After an early breakfast at your accommodation in Karatu, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a rewarding game drive across one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife areas.

Explore the crater floor in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas and, with some luck, the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic location inside the crater before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Later in the afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive back through the Ngorongoro Highlands to Karatu. Upon arrival, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Karatu to Ndutu

Karatu to Ndutu

After an early breakfast at your accommodation in Karatu, depart for the Ndutu region, travelling through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you approach Ndutu, the highland scenery gradually gives way to expansive grasslands and open wilderness.

Upon arrival, begin your game drive across the Ndutu area, which lies between the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Explore the areas around Lake Ndutu and Lake Masek, where wildlife gathers around seasonal water sources. Depending on the season, you may encounter wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas and other wildlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during your game drive before continuing to explore Ndutu in the afternoon. Later, proceed to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

After an early breakfast, you'll spend the morning exploring the Ndutu region, an area within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area known for its rich wildlife and seasonal wildebeest migration (depending on the time of year). The region offers excellent opportunities to spot predators, as well as large herds of zebras, wildebeest, and antelope across the open plains and woodlands.

After your game drive and lunch, you’ll begin the scenic drive to Karatu, located on the lush highlands just outside Ngorongoro. Arrive in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge, nestled in the peaceful surroundings of the crater highlands.

After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Eyasi, a scenic drive of about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, begin your cultural experience with a visit to the Hadzabe, one of Tanzania's last remaining hunter-gatherer community. You'll join them on a short traditional hunting walk and learn about their unique way of life.

Next, visit the Datoga tribe, known for their blacksmithing skills and distinctive cultural identity. You’ll observe their traditional methods of metalwork and gain insight into their daily routines.

After this enriching morning, enjoy lunch in the area before beginning your journey back to Arusha in the early afternoon, arriving by evening.
