Your 2-Day Fly-In Mikumi National Park Safari begins with a scheduled morning flight from Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park, one of Tanzania’s most accessible and wildlife-rich parks. The short scenic flight offers aerial views of the Tanzanian countryside before landing at the Mikumi airstrip, located close to prime game-viewing areas.

Upon arrival, you will be met by your professional safari guide and transferred to your lodge or tented camp. After lunch and a brief rest, head out for an afternoon game drive across Mikumi’s wide-open savannahs, often compared to the Serengeti plains.

Mikumi National Park is home to lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and abundant birdlife, with excellent wildlife visibility year-round.
