Meet and Greet

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi. Depart for Samburu National Reserve, enjoying a scenic drive through central Kenya, passing lush coffee and tea plantations. As you approach Samburu, the landscape transforms into breathtaking semi-arid savannahs with rolling hills. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for lunch and some relaxation. In the late afternoon, embark on your first game drive for wildlife viewing activities, exploring the park’s dramatic landscapes and spotting wildlife such as elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Enjoy the sunset over the vast plains before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full-Day Game drive at Samburu National Reserve and visit a samburu village evening

Rise early for an exhilarating morning game drive when the wildlife is most active. Samburu is home to the Samburu Special Five – Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, gerenuk, and reticulated giraffe – species rarely found in other parks. You may also spot leopards resting on tree branches, herds of elephants bathing in the Ewaso Nyiro River, and majestic lions surveying their territory. Return to the lodge for a leisurely lunch and some relaxation by the pool or enjoy a nature walk. In the afternoon, embark on another game drive or choose an optional visit to a Samburu village, where you’ll learn about their rich culture, traditional dances, and unique way of life. End the day with a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Sunrise Safari And Return Back to Nairobi

Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, where you will be dropped off at the airport, marking the end of an incredible Samburu safari experience.
