Today includes a special cultural stop at a local village on the riverbanks. Visit the school, chat with community members, and see how life unfolds along the river—an enriching highlight of the journey. Afterward, continue your canoeing and arrive at your next island campsite by late afternoon. Settle in, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner, and soak in the peaceful atmosphere as you prepare for another night under canvas.

Final Canoe Day – Overnight Near Magurameno

After breakfast, paddle further into the Lower Zambezi wilderness toward the Magurameno area. This stretch of the river is particularly scenic and offers excellent chances to see elephants, buffalo, and diverse birdlife along the banks. Your guide will point out interesting features and help you spot wildlife as you glide through this remote landscape. After another picnic lunch, arrive at your final island campsite in or around Magurameno. Enjoy a relaxed evening with dinner by the fire, surrounded by the quiet rhythms of the river and wild.

Game Drive in Lower Zambezi National Park & Return to Kiambi

Start your day with a boat transfer into Lower Zambezi National Park for an exciting game drive. This part of the park is home to elephants, lions, leopards, antelope, and much more. Traverse riverine forests and open plains in a 4x4 safari vehicle, guided by an expert who will share stories and insights along the way. After the game drive, return to your boat for a scenic ride back to Kiambi Safari Lodge. Take the evening to unwind and reflect on the incredible journey—from wild camping to cultural experiences and thrilling wildlife encounters.
