Upon arrival at Dar es Salaam International Airport, a private driver will transfer you to Serena Hotel, a comfortable retreat overlooking the Indian Ocean. Drive or fly in from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi (approximately five hours by road). Overnight at Atupele Camp. After breakfast, drive to Mikumi National Park, passing scenic landscapes and traditional villages. Upon arrival, check in at Camp Atupele, which offers stunning views over the savannah. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive where you may spot elephants, lions, giraffes and zebras. Mikumi is part of the Greater Selous ecosystem, allowing wildlife to move freely between here and Nyerere National Park.

Begin the day with a sunrise game drive in Mikumi, the perfect time to witness predators in action. After breakfast, return to Dar es Salaam for a short flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, you will be transferred to Qambani Luxury Resort, a comfortable beachfront resort. Here, you can spend the afternoon unwinding by the ocean, enjoying a swim or indulging in a spa treatment. Enjoy a full day of relaxation or exploration with several options to choose from. Visit Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site rich in history and culture. Explore a spice farm and learn about Zanzibar's famous cloves cinnamon and vanilla. Alternatively, relax on the beach and soak in the turquoise waters. Zanzibar was once the center of the East African spice trade, which earned it the nickname 'The Spice Island.'
