Your day starts early at 6:00 am (pick-up time varies based on your Zanzibar hotel) with a transfer to the airport for your 8:00 am flight to Arusha. Arriving at 9:15 am, your driver-guide will take you on a 1.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, sharing stories about Arusha and Maasai culture.
Tarangire is famous for its rich biodiversity and large elephant herds, with landscapes ranging from seasonal swamps to savannas, crossed by the Tarangire River. You might witness lions stalking prey or leopards resting in trees.
Enjoy a packed lunch inside the park before continuing your game drive. The afternoon safari ends at 4:00 pm, followed by a drive to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

After breakfast at 6:00 am, you’ll drive to Ngorongoro for an early morning game drive inside the crater, offering the best wildlife viewing and stunning scenery.
Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s Natural Wonders, is the largest intact caldera worldwide. It shelters around 30,000 large mammals, including buffalo, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, along with diverse birds like flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. You’ll likely see many animals within a short time.
The game drive ends in the afternoon, followed by a transfer to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 pm flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, your driver will escort you back to your hotel.
