You’ll be picked up early in the morning from your hotel in Kigali or the airport by a Nextgen Safaris experienced safari guide and drive northwards to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enjoy a scenic 4–5 hour drive through Rwanda’s rolling hills and across the Cyanika or Gatuna border into Uganda. Arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the afternoon, check in at your lodge, and relax while enjoying views of the rainforest.

Gorilla Trekking and Drop off in Kigali

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your gorilla trek. You’ll venture into the forest with experienced rangers in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. Once found, spend up to one hour observing these incredible creatures in their natural habitat. After the trek, have lunch, freshen up, and begin your return drive to Kigali for drop-off at your hotel or airport in the evening.
