Day 1

Fly Addis Ababa – Lalibela

You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lalibela. Be met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. ‘Eighth wonder of world Heritage’ Lalibela is famous for its underground rock-hewn cathedrals. In the afternoon you will visit top attractions of Lalibela that will simply stagger you. These churches include Bete Medhane Alem, Bete Mariam, Bete Meskal, Bete Denaghel, Bete Golgotha, Bete Mikael, and Bete Giorgis.

Day 2

Fly Lalibela – Addis – Arba Minch

Upon arrival at Arba Minch, we will drive to the Dorze village, nestled high in the Gughe Mountains. The Dorze people are renowned for their unique culture, traditional beehive-shaped huts made from bamboo and false banana leaves, and their expert weaving skills. As we ascend into the mountains, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley and Lake Abaya. In the village, we will learn about the Dorze way of life, including their sustainable farming practices, local food preparation, and traditional music and dance. You’ll also witness how they process false banana—an essential part of their cuisine—and may have the chance to try it yourself. This immersive cultural visit provides a deep insight into one of Ethiopia’s most fascinating highland communities, offering a memorable blend of scenery, heritage, and warm hospitality. After the visit, we return to Arba Minch for overnight stay or continue our journey depending on the tour plan.

Day 3

Konso – Turmi

Konso – Turmi

After breakfast you will take a boat trip in Lake Lake Chamo, to visit the crocodile market, it is a local name for a place in Lake chamo that the crocodiles went out of the lake and chill, there is no buying or selling, also you will see hippos and different kinds of birds late drive to Turmi then you will have a chance of seeing the Konso village, one of the UNESCO site in Ethiopia know by their terracing. One of the best types of coffee for the country is also from this village. Proceed to the Bana village. The Bana who are indigenous pastoral and semi-nomadic people living in the harsh environment of lower Omo Valley. The men often have their hair dressed up with a colorful clay cap that is decorated with feathers. Then proceed to the Turmi where the Hamer people lives where you can witness the traditional bull jumping ceremony.

Day 4

Turmi- Omorate- Jinka

Turmi- Omorate- Jinka

After having your breakfast, you will have an excursion to Omorate to visit the Dassanech people ‘people of the Delta’, who lives on the northern shore of Lake Turkana. Visit and drive back to Turmi for lunch then drive to Jinka then we will be drive to the Ari people, the largest population in the lower omo valley. The women wear skirts from the banana like tree, called Enset are expert in pottery.

Day 5

Jinka-Mago – Jinka-Addis Ababa

Jinka-Mago – Jinka-Addis Ababa

Take a day excursion to Mago National Park to visit a Mursi village. The Mursi are one of Ethiopia’s most distinctive and renowned ethnic groups, known for their unique customs and appearance. They live in low, dome-shaped huts made from straw and leaves. Mursi women are famously known for wearing large clay (terra cotta) plates in their lower lips and ear lobes as a symbol of beauty and identity. After this culturally rich experience, drive back to Jinka for lunch. Later, you will be transferred to Jinka Airport for your flight back to Addis Ababa. In the evening, attend a special folkloric dinner, where you will enjoy a variety of traditional Ethiopian dishes and experience live performances showcasing the music and dances of different ethnic groups. A traditional coffee ceremony—the heart of Ethiopian hospitality—will also be served. Finally, you will be transferred to the airport for your international departure.
