Pick up and Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You’ll be picked up at Entebbe Airport or Kampala in the morning and drive through scenic highlands toward Bwindi. If coming from Kigali, you’ll cross the Cyanika or Gatuna border; if from Entebbe, the journey will include a longer scenic route with possible stops. You'll arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and relax with views of the forest.

Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, you'll transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing. Then, you'll set off into the misty jungle to track your first habituated gorilla family. The trek can take 2 to 6 hours, depending on their location. You'll spend an unforgettable hour with the gorillas before returning to the lodge for rest and reflection.

Gorilla Trekking and Drive to Lake Bunyonyi

Today, you'll enjoy your second gorilla trek in a different region of Bwindi or with a different family group, enhancing your understanding of their social dynamics. After the trek, you'll drive to nearby Lake Bunyonyi, known for its volcanic scenery and tranquil setting. You'll check in at a lakeside lodge and enjoy the evening by the water.

Canoeing and Drop of at Entebbe or Kigali

After an early breakfast, you'll enjoy a peaceful canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi or an optional nature walk around the Lake Shores. Later, you'll begin your return transfer to Kigali (approximately 4–5 hours) or Entebbe (approximately 7–9 hours), marking the end of your unforgettable double gorilla safari and lakeside retreat.
