Travel from Entebb/Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Wake up early, enjoy a morning breakfast at the hotel where our team will meet you from. This jourmey will start with a briefing and we embark on the 5-6 hours journey to Queen Elizabeth. Along the way you will have a number of stopovers; at the Equator, here you will take enough photographs and in Mbarara town for your lunch.

Thereafter proceed to the Park as you drive through the spectacular landscape characterized with open grasslands, Ankole log horned cattle, tea plantations, the Rift valley Escarpment and various woodlands. Reach the park in late afternoon and have a game drive as you drive to your lodge. Have dinner and there spend an Overnight.

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Safari

Youw will start the day with a sunrise morning game drive through Kasenyi plains in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, and antelope. After lunch, you will embark on a private boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, famous for its dense populations of hippos, crocodiles and birds. You will return to your lodge in time for sunset drinks and a fine dining experience.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, we drive through the southern Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, a region known for its rare tree-climbing lions. You will enjoy a brief game drive here before continuing into the misty highlands of Bwindi. You will arrive at Bweza Gorilla Lodge and settle in for a tranquil evening surrounded by nature.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

This is the highlight of your safari! After an early breakfast, youw ill transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. You will then hike into the forest with expert trackers to locate a habituated gorilla family. You will spend one magical hour observing them in their natural habitat. You will return to the lodge for a late lunch and an optional massage or community visit in the afternoon.

Drive back to Entebbe

You'll enjoy a relaxed breakfast before transferring back to Entebbe. Then embark on a transfer to the airport via Mbarara with lunch en route at the Equator. Later, you'll drive onwards to Entebbe, marking the end of your 5-day trip in Uganda.
