Rise early to catch the Serengeti at its most magical, when the light is golden and predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards are often most active.

After an early breakfast, continue your safari across the Serengeti’s sweeping landscapes, pausing to admire hippos in pools, herds of wildebeest grazing, and birdlife decorating the skies. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed en route as you gradually make your way out of the Serengeti towards the Ngorongoro Highlands.

The scenery shifts as you climb into cooler altitudes, with rolling hills, lush forests, and breathtaking views. By afternoon, you’ll arrive at your Luxury accommodation bordering Ngorongoro, perched at the crater’s edge. The lodge offers stunning panoramas and intimate luxury in a serene setting. The day begins with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “eighth wonder of the world.”

This vast caldera shelters over 25,000 large mammals within its natural walls, creating a unique and concentrated wildlife experience. Your morning game drive may reveal lions stalking buffalo, elephants wandering the swamps, or the rare and endangered black rhino grazing in open fields. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted by flamingos shimmering across the lakes and countless other species.

After a scenic picnic lunch near a hippo pool, continue exploring the crater floor before ascending to the rim in the afternoon. From here, you’ll transfer to Arusha for your return flight to Zanzibar, arriving by evening.
