Chimpazee Trekking and Canopy walk experience

Start your day early with a guided chimpanzee trek in Nyungwe Forest. Walk through the rainforest as you listen for calls and follow the chimps as they play, feed, and move through the trees. After the trek, return to the lodge for breakfast and a short rest before heading out again for the famous canopy walk. This hanging bridge offers beautiful views above the forest and a chance to see birds and other wildlife. Optional accommodation upgrades are available for an extra cost.

After breakfast, soak in the peaceful beauty of Lake Kivu as you watch fishing boats glide across the water and enjoy the cool lake breeze. You may choose to take a boat cruise to explore nearby islands or take a gentle walk along the lakeshore Later, check out of your hotel and begin the scenic drive back to Kigali, winding through Rwanda’s famous hills and local villages. Arrive in the city in the afternoon, marking the end of your unforgettable Nyungwe and Lake Kivu adventure.
