Upon arrival at the park gate, you’ll begin your first game drive, exploring its riverine habitats and open savannahs.

After an early breakfast, you will begin your ascent through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing lush highlands and traditional Maasai homesteads. A brief stop at a viewpoint on the Ngorongoro Crater rim offers stunning panoramic views—perfect for photos. Continuing onward, you’ll descend onto the endless plains of the Serengeti, Tanzania’s most iconic park. After completing entry formalities at Naabi Hill Gate, you’ll begin an en route game drive deep into the Serengeti.

After an early breakfast, depart your lodge and drive back into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Once at the descent road, you’ll descend 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken caldera. The fertile crater floor hosts an incredible concentration of wildlife, including elephants, hippos, lions, hyenas, flamingos, and the endangered black rhino.

You’ll enjoy a half-day game drive, with a picnic lunch at a shaded spot near the hippo pool or one of the crater’s scenic outlooks. In the early afternoon, ascend the crater rim and begin the return drive to Arusha Airport, arriving in time for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar.
