You'll arrive at the international airport of Ivato-Antananarivo. Upon arrival, meet with our staff at the customs area. Assistance with visa delivery and luggage formalities. The drive to Ambohimanga Hill and a visit for 1h30 before your transfer to the hotel.

Day 2
Antananarivo - Andasibe-Mantadia National Park

After breakfast, you will head east to Andasibe through the typical landscape of the eastern highlands and rainforest. On the way, stop at the Peyreiras reptile farm to observe different endemic species of chameleons, lizards, geckos, and frogs. On arrival in Andasibe around noon. In the afternoon, you will visit the Analamazaotra reserve to spot the largest lemurs in Madagascar: Indri Indri, diademed sifaka, common brown lemur, gray bamboo lemur, and eastern woolly lemur. Night walk to spot nocturnal species such as Goodman's lemur, brown mouse lemur, weasel sport lemur, eastern ring-tailed mongoose, chameleons, and frogs.

You'll have breakfast at the hotel, then a morning walk in the primary forest. Other species of lemurs might be seen during the walk, such as the gray bamboo lemur, black and white ruffed lemur, blue vanga, short-legged scarf, collard, cryptic warbler, Madagascar long-eared owl, the chameleon with nose horns, and Madagascar tree boa. You'll return to the hotel after the visit. In the afternoon, you will visit the Vakona private reserve with its small crocodile island.

You'll have breakfast at the hotel. Then, you will continue to take Manambato through the eastern tropical forest with a landscape dominated by the traveling palm or "Ravinala". Arrival in Manambato. You will transfer by boat to Akanin'ny Nofy. On arrival, you'll check in at the hotel. In the evening, you'll have a night visit to discover the smallest lemur in Madagascar: aye-aye.
