Arrival Day - Overnight at Arusha City

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide who will transfer you to your accommodation. After checking in, you will enjoy a delicious dinner and relax before the exciting safari ahead. In the evening, your guide will provide a pre-safari briefing, ensuring you're fully prepared for the adventure that awaits. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your comfortable lodge or hotel. (It is advisable to arrive in Arusha at least the day before the safari departure).

Arusha - Fly to Southern Serengeti (Ndutu Area)

Early in the morning, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your scenic flight to the Southern Serengeti – Ndutu area (approx. 1 hour). Upon landing, meet your professional safari guide and begin your first game drive in the Ndutu plains, a prime location during the calving season. This region is rich in wildlife action as thousands of wildebeest give birth, attracting predators like lions and cheetahs. Enjoy game drives with a packed lunch in the wild, maximizing your chances to witness the circle of life in action. In the late afternoon, drive approximately 30–40 km (1–1.5 hrs depending on sightings) to your special tented camp, beautifully set in the heart of nature. Arrive in time to relax, enjoy the sunset, followed by a delicious bush dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness. This day marks the beginning of an unforgettable adventure into Tanzania’s most dramatic wildlife season.

Southern Serengeti (Ndutu Area)

Early in the morning after breakfast, depart for another exciting day of game drives and exploration in the Southern Serengeti’s Ndutu area. This region is famous during the calving season, offering dramatic wildlife experiences as thousands of wildebeest give birth, attracting predators like lions, hyenas, and cheetahs. With your packed lunch, you’ll explore further afield, covering approximately 100 km throughout the day (about 6–7 hours of game viewing depending on wildlife sightings and stops). Your professional guide will take you to the best spots for observing the migration and the raw moments of life and survival on the plains. In the late afternoon or early evening, return to your special tented camp, where you can unwind, enjoy a warm shower, and reflect on the day’s adventures. A delicious dinner will be served, followed by an overnight stay under the stars, with the sounds of the African wilderness surrounding your peaceful camp.

Southern Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha - Kilimanjaro International Airport

After an early breakfast at your camp in the southern Serengeti (Ndutu area), you will check out and begin your journey toward the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater (80km 1.2hr).
Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Crater, you’ll descend 600 meters into this ancient volcanic caldera for a half-day game drive. The crater floor offers a unique and concentrated wildlife viewing experience, home to a dense population of animals including elephants, lions, hyenas, zebras, buffaloes, and the rare black rhino. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is often referred to as “Africa’s Garden of Eden” for its breathtaking scenery and rich biodiversity (3 to 5hr game drives).
After an incredible morning of wildlife viewing, you’ll ascend back to the crater rim and begin your return journey to Arusha (190km, 4hr). Upon arrival in Arusha in the late afternoon or early evening, you’ll be transferred to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your international flight onward.
