Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met and warmly welcomed by our representative, who will also be your tour and driver guide throughout your stay in Uganda. After a brief introduction and interaction, you will be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe for your overnight stay.

Fly from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel in the morning and transferred to the airport for your scheduled flight.
Upon arrival at the airstrip (Kihihi/Kisoro), a lodge representative will warmly welcome you and drive you to your lodge for check-in and some time to relax.
In the afternoon, set out on a guided community walk around the park, visiting impactful local initiatives such as Buhoma Hospital, the Ride 4 a Woman empowerment project, and the Batwa community. Activities may include visits to a traditional homestead, demonstrations of banana beer and Waragi (local gin) brewing, insights into herbal medicine, and stops at a local orphanage and school.
Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After an early breakfast, transfer to the Bwindi Park headquarters (sector depends on your lodge) for a briefing on the day’s gorilla trek. Bwindi has four sectors: Buhoma and Ruhija in the north, and Rushaga and Nkuringo in the south.
You’ll then begin your trek through the forest in search of a gorilla family. Hike through dense jungle, guided by expert trackers, until you find a gorilla family. Tracking can take 2–5 hours depending on their last known location. Once found, enjoy one unforgettable hour observing and photographing these gentle giants.

Along the way, you may encounter other wildlife such as monkeys, birds, butterflies, and forest flora. The full activity may take 5–9 hours. Packed Lunch and hiring porters are highly recommended.
