Day 1

After an early breakfast, you will travel to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, including lions and other big cats. Enjoy lunch at the Tarangire River picnic site, followed by an afternoon game drive to explore more of the park. In the evening, you will proceed to Eileen's Trees Inn in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay, concluding a memorable first day of your safari.

After an early breakfast, you will travel from Karatu to the Serengeti via the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands, with opportunities for game viewing along the way. Upon entering the Serengeti, you will begin your first game drive, spotting zebras, wildebeests, elephants, and predators in this remarkable region, home to one of nature’s greatest spectacles: the Great Wildebeest Migration.

Afterwards, continue game drives until the afternoon, then return to your lodge for lunch. Later, enjoy a sunset game drive and take in the breathtaking beauty of the Serengeti plains.

Start the day with an early morning game drive, a wonderful time when predators are most active. The Serengeti is renowned for its rich wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Optional: Begin your day with an early morning hot air balloon safari for a unique view of the Serengeti at sunrise. After the balloon ride, continue with your game drives.

Spend the day exploring the wide, open plains, enjoying the beauty and diversity of the Serengeti, and spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, and many other species in their natural habitat. For those wishing to see as much as possible, a full-day game drive is recommended.

Return to your lodge in the evening to relax and reflect on a truly unforgettable day of wildlife adventure.

After an early breakfast, you will travel on a scenic game drive to Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you will descend into the crater in search of the rare black rhino, one of the hardest animals to spot. Inside this stunning crater, often called Africa’s “Noah’s Ark,” you will encounter a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, hyenas, big cats, rhinos, and more.

In the afternoon, enjoy lunch by the hippo pool, followed by another game drive as you ascend back to the crater rim. Later, continue your journey to Arusha, arriving in the early evening for your departure, concluding a memorable day of wildlife adventure.
