You'll depart Nairobi for a journey across the Kenyan Highlands, through pineapple and coffee plantations. You'll arrive at Aberdare National Park in time for lunch. You'll drive through the park watching wildlife along the way to the lodge. After checking in, you'll enjoy lunch and a short rest. You'll have afternoon wildlife viewing from the balconies of the tree hotel. The Aberdare National Park is home to elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffaloes, warthogs, and bushbucks, among others. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 2

You'll have an early breakfast at the lodge. You'll depart Aberdare for Samburu Game Reserve. You'll arrive in time for lunch. You'll enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park famous for the Samburu semi-nomadic tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Grevy's zebra gerenuk, beisa oryx, and a host of the big game, including elephant and lion. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Camp/lodge.

Day 3

On this day, after breakfast, you'll spend the full day with morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu National Reserve, which has as its backdrop the great table mountain, Ololokwe. Vegetation is limited to a narrow stretch of doum palms, tamarind, and some woodland bordering the Ewaso Ng’iro River. Away from this is hot, dusty scrubland and acacia woodland. Samburu is also home to the third of Kenya’s giraffe species —the rare Reticulated Giraffe (only found in the Northern parks). This is also where you see the blue-legged Somali Ostrich, the long-necked Gerenuk gazelle, and the straight-horned Beisa Oryx antelope. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp/lodge.

Day 4

Early breakfast at the camp, then check out and drive to the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. You'll arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy a game drive in this beautiful park. Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the smallest but best game parks in Africa. The soda lake is home to a sea of pink flamingos, and the surrounding parkland offers the closest view you're likely to get of a white rhino (they tend to gather in front of the acacia forest at the southern end of the lake). Other park residents include leopards, buffalo, and hippos. The park is best explored in the golden sun of the late afternoon. You can circle the lake clockwise in your van, then drive to the top of Baboon Cliff for a stunning sunset view. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 5

You'll depart Nakuru for a journey along the floor of the great Rift Valley, then past Narok, climb the western wall, entering Hemingway’s country ‘’Serengeti plans’’ You'll arrive at Mara in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy a game drive in this famous reserve. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp/lodge.

Day 6

Full day at this famous reserve searching for wild game with an option to enjoy a balloon safari (extra cost of USD450). You'll leave the lodge with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive. The Mara is the land of African legend: Lions are abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and, less commonly, rhino. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature's few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September, where the big animals and their predators are present in abundance during the time frame of this trip. Several species of Bee-eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of the Mara's birds, occur in the reserve. As well as wildlife, the Masai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Maasai people. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp/lodge.

Day 7

You'll have an early morning game drive followed by a late breakfast at the camp/lodge and a departure to Nairobi. A stopover is provided at Narok Town to browse in the bustling, vibrant Masai markets to buy curios and handicrafts. On arrival, you'll be dropped off at the airport for your final departure.
