Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide and transferred to your lodge or hotel in Arusha — the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Along the way, catch glimpses of Mount Meru and the bustling life of the city.

Once checked in, take time to relax after a long journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short orientation tour of Arusha town, a visit to a local café, or a peaceful walk in nearby gardens to stretch your legs. Shira Plateau Day Hike (Mount Kilimanjaro)

After an early breakfast, drive to the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro for a day hike on the Shira Plateau. Enjoy breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro’s summit, alpine meadows, and volcanic formations. The hike is gentle but scenic, perfect for acclimatization and nature photography. Return to Arusha for overnight.

Arusha Town Tour & Napuru Waterfall Hike

Tarangire National Park

Depart after breakfast for a full-day safari in Tarangire National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants and towering baobab trees.
