Day 1

Safari Begins – Into the Wild Serengeti

Safari Begins – Into the Wild Serengeti

After breakfast, your adventure begins as you drive toward the iconic Serengeti National Park, known for its vast open plains and extraordinary wildlife. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the breathtaking Great Migration hundreds of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles moving in search of fresh grazing. During the short rains (October–November), the herds migrate from Kenya’s Masai Mara into the southern Serengeti.

After the long rains (April–June), they return north through the western corridor. Your expert Bavuma guide will track the movements to ensure the best game viewing possible. Along the way, you might spot lions stalking prey, elephants under acacia trees, or even a dramatic predator hunt.

By sunset, you’ll arrive at Tukaone Weavers Camp where you’ll enjoy a hearty dinner and settle into your comfortable tented lodge under the stars.
