Arusha/Jro Airport – Tarangire

Your safari guide will meet you upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to begin the drive directly to Tarangire National Park.
The park is known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees that shape the landscape.
Along the way, you will enjoy views of local plains and Tanzanian countryside.
​You will enter the park for an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch at a scenic site inside the park.
The Tarangire River serves as a permanent water source, drawing thousands of animals such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions, and leopards to its banks.
In the evening, you will drive to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and your overnight stay.

Lake Manyara – Arusha/Jro Airport

Program of the day:

After breakfast, we’ll drive to Lake Manyara National Park for an exciting game drive. Watch for the famous tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and the colorful birdlife that thrives around the lake. After the game drive, we’ll transfer you to Arusha or JRO Airport, where your safari adventure comes to an end.

Lake Manyara is a shallow, alkaline lake in northern Tanzania, known for its beautiful landscapes and rich wildlife. The park includes lush forests, open grasslands, and natural hot springs. It is especially famous for its huge flocks of flamingos and the unique tree-climbing lions. The size of the lake changes with the seasons.
