Fly Zanzibar - Arusha Airport – Tarangire

Your safari adventure begins upon arrival at Arusha Airport, where you will link up directly with your professional guide and drive straight to Tarangire National Park. This magnificent park is world-famous for its ancient baobab trees and massive elephant populations that gather along the permanent waters of the Tarangire River.
​You will enjoy an extensive afternoon game drive tracking large herds of elephants, towering giraffes, zebras, and various plains game drinking from the vital river source. After a thrilling day of wildlife viewing and enjoying a scenic picnic lunch inside the park, you will drive up the Great Rift Valley escarpment. You will check into your comfortable mid-range lodge in Karatu for a hot dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Program of the day:

After breakfast, we’ll set out on an exciting journey to Ngorongoro Crater for a thrilling game drive. As we descend into the crater, you’ll have the chance to spot the Big Five along with many other incredible animals. After the game drive, we’ll return to your lodge for a restful overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater, often called “Africa’s Garden of Eden”, is a remarkable natural wonder in northern Tanzania. This vast crater was formed when a massive volcano about the size of Mount Kilimanjaro erupted and collapsed, creating this unique landscape.

Lake Manyara – Arusha Airport - Fly Zanzibar

Program of the day:

After breakfast, we’ll drive to Lake Manyara National Park for an exciting game drive. Look out for the famous tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and vibrant birdlife around the lake. After the game drive, we’ll transfer you to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar, marking the end of your safari adventure.

Lake Manyara is a shallow, alkaline lake in northern Tanzania, celebrated for its beautiful landscapes and diverse wildlife. The park features lush forests, open grasslands, and natural hot springs, and is especially famous for its large flamingo flocks and unique tree-climbing lions. The lake’s size changes with seasonal rainfall.
