Fly Zanzibar - Arusha Airport – Tarangire

Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer to the airport for your flight to Arusha. On arrival, your professional safari guide will welcome you and your private safari vehicle will take you straight to Tarangire National Park.

Enter a world of ancient baobabs, golden savannah and impressive elephant herds as you begin your first game drive. Explore the park in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions and other wildlife gathering around the Tarangire River and surrounding plains.

Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, travel towards the Great Rift Valley highlands and settle into your comfortable mid-range accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Karatu - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, journey to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater and descend into its spectacular wildlife-rich floor. Surrounded by dramatic volcanic walls, the crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife and offers some of the finest game viewing in Tanzania.

Explore the open grasslands, forests and wetlands in search of the Big Five, including the possibility of spotting the endangered black rhino. You may also encounter elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and abundant birdlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before ascending the crater walls and returning to your comfortable accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara – Arusha Airport - Fly Zanzibar

After breakfast, continue to Lake Manyara National Park, where diverse landscapes create a beautiful setting for your final game drive. Explore lush forests, open grasslands and the shores of the seasonal lake while looking for elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons and colorful birdlife.

Keep watch for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions resting among the branches, and enjoy the possibility of seeing flamingos along the lakeshore. After your game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing to Arusha Airport for your return flight to Zanzibar.

Upon arrival in Zanzibar, our driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your preferred hotel or location, bringing your safari journey to a smooth and memorable end.
