Upon your arrival at the airport, our team will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. If time permits, you can enjoy an optional city tour to get a glimpse of Arusha’s vibrant culture and lively atmosphere—an ideal way to ease into your Tanzanian adventure.

In the evening, we will provide a detailed briefing about the upcoming safari activities and answer any questions you may have to ensure you feel fully prepared and excited for the journey ahead.

Depending on your arrival time, you may also choose to take a short hike up Kilima Moto hill to witness a breathtaking sunset over Arusha and the surrounding landscapes—a perfect way to relax and soak in the beauty of Tanzania before your safari begins.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am and introduce you to your guide before setting off on a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its majestic ancient baobab trees, Tarangire is also home to Tanzania’s largest elephant population. Get ready for unforgettable close-up encounters with these gentle giants as you watch the dynamics within elephant families.

Your game drive will follow the latest wildlife sightings, offering chances to spot a variety of herbivores such as giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras roaming the vast landscape. Predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards are more elusive but always worth the search.

After lunch, continue your game drive, soaking in the beautiful scenery and watching for more animals before leaving the park around 5:30 pm. From there, you’ll head to your accommodation at Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge, where a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay await you.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park, which takes approximately six hours including stops along the way. En route, you will pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where we’ll pause briefly at the crater rim to admire the stunning views of this natural wonder for about 20 minutes.

Arriving in Serengeti in the late afternoon, you’ll embark on an exciting game drive in the Seronera area, the heart of the park. As the sun begins to set, enjoy the magical atmosphere while observing wildlife in their natural habitat. With some luck, you might even witness a predator’s hunt during this thrilling time of day.

After the game drive, you will be transferred to Serengeti Safari Camp, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious dinner surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Today, you’ll explore the wider Serengeti as we head northwest, tracking the movements of the abundant wildlife.

After an early breakfast, set out on a morning game drive, equipped with a picnic lunch to enjoy amidst the stunning wilderness. The focus will be the Mara River, where you may witness the awe-inspiring sight of migrating herds crossing the water—a true highlight of the safari experience.

The game drive continues throughout the day, offering ample opportunities to observe predators, herbivores, and countless bird species in their natural habitat. As evening approaches, return to Heritage Mara Camp, where you can relax, enjoy a delicious dinner, and spend the night surrounded by wildlife, as animals are often seen near the camp itself.

In the late afternoon, you’ll leave Serengeti National Park and begin the approximately two-hour drive to Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge. Perched on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, the lodge offers breathtaking panoramic views of this spectacular natural wonder.

Enjoy a relaxing evening at the lodge, taking in the stunning scenery and preparing for the next day’s adventures.

Day 6

After an early breakfast, we’ll begin our descent into the Ngorongoro Crater around 6:15 am, embarking on an exciting game drive with hopes of spotting the elusive black rhino—the most challenging of the Big Five to find in this stunning natural amphitheater. While rhinos can be shy, other wildlife on the crater floor is abundant and easier to observe.

Following a midday lunch within the crater, we’ll continue our game drive before ascending the crater rim in the afternoon. From there, we’ll make our way to Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa near Arusha, where you can relax and unwind after a day filled with incredible wildlife encounters.

After breakfast, we’ll set off for a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its diverse landscapes and abundant birdlife. Upon arrival, embark on an exciting game drive through the park’s varied habitats, from dense forests to open plains and the sparkling shores of the lake itself.

Lake Manyara is famous for its large flocks of flamingos that often color the lake pink, as well as its unique tree-climbing lions—an unforgettable sight. Keep an eye out for elephants, baboons, hippos, giraffes, and a wide variety of other wildlife.
