Arusha - Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM and drive you to one of Tanzania’s most remarkable national parks — Tarangire National Park. Known for its breathtakingly diverse landscapes, Tarangire features nine distinct vegetation zones. The park is dotted with majestic ancient baobab trees, some of the largest on the continent, which tower over the wildlife and create unforgettable scenery.

A highlight of Tarangire is its permanent river, a lifeline that draws a rich variety of animals year-round. Here, you may spot everything from colorful bird species to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and, most famously, elephants. In fact, Tarangire holds the highest concentration of elephants in Tanzania, giving you rare opportunities to witness their fascinating family interactions up close.

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

Your day begins with a scenic drive through the heart of northern Tanzania, crossing the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. This geological wonder stretches thousands of kilometers across the African continent, and the journey itself is an experience — vast plains, distant escarpments, and scattered Maasai villages dot the horizon. As the morning sunlight filters across the valley floor, you’ll arrive at the gates of one of Tanzania’s most enchanting and underrated destinations: Lake Manyara National Park.

Although modest in size at just 205 square miles (330 km²), Lake Manyara packs a remarkable variety of ecosystems into its boundaries. This compact diversity is part of what makes the park such a favorite for photographers, nature enthusiasts, and first-time safari-goers alike. As you enter, the road winds beneath the shade of a lush groundwater forest, where giant mahogany trees and towering fig trees create a cool, dappled canopy.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, we set out toward one of the most legendary wildlife destinations on Earth — Serengeti National Park. The journey is long but spectacular, taking you through ever-changing landscapes and offering glimpses of rural Tanzanian life along the way. As you approach the park, the land begins to open up, and the anticipation builds with every passing mile.

The moment you first lay eyes on the Serengeti is something you will never forget. Its name, derived from the Maasai word Siringet, means “endless plains” — and as you gaze out over this vast wilderness, you’ll understand why. Covering a staggering 6,900 square miles (18,000 km²), the Serengeti is a boundless sea of grasslands dotted with acacia trees, kopjes (ancient granite outcrops), and seasonal rivers. The horizon seems impossibly far away, blurring into the sky and defying your sense of distance.
