Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari driver-guide. After a short meet and greet, you will be transferred to your lodge in Arusha for check-in.

Spend the rest of the day relaxing and recovering from your journey. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge as you prepare for the incredible safari adventure ahead.

Day 2

Arusha- Tarangire National Park

Arusha- Tarangire National Park

After an early morning pick-up from your lodge, you will begin your scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, carrying packed lunch boxes for the day. Upon arrival, embark on an exciting game drive through one of Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destinations.

Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and picturesque landscapes, which vary from open savannahs to seasonal swamps. The Tarangire River, a vital water source, meanders through the park and attracts a wide array of wildlife. As you explore, keep an eye out for predators like lions on the hunt or leopards resting high in the branches of acacia trees.

After the game drive, you will head back to your lodge for some relaxation, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park with a scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy breathtaking views en route before entering the vast plains of the Serengeti. Upon arrival, embark on a full-day game drive in the central Serengeti (Seronera), known for abundant wildlife including the Big Five, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, and wildebeests. You may choose to have a packed lunch in the park or return to the lodge for a hot meal. The day offers excellent chances to witness predators, especially in the early morning and late afternoon. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, descending into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera for a memorable game drive. The crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, black rhinos, elephants, and large herds of herbivores. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before ascending no later than 2:00 PM. Continue your journey to Lake Eyasi, arriving in the late afternoon. Relax at your lodge and prepare for the next day’s cultural experience.

Lake Ayasi to Arusha

Lake Ayasi to Arusha

Start the day early with a visit to the Hadzabe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer community in Tanzania. Join them on a morning hunt and learn about their unique way of life. Afterward, visit the Datoga, known for their blacksmithing skills and pastoral lifestyle. These immersive experiences will take approximately 5 hours in total. After the activities, begin your drive back to Arusha. Arrival is expected in the late afternoon or early evening.
