This UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts breathtaking scenery and is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five, lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and the rare black rhino, as well as flamingos and other birdlife around the crater’s shimmering lake. The lush plains and acacia forests offer endless photo opportunities as you enjoy a half-day game drive in this unique ecosystem. Midday, relax with a picnic lunch beside the hippo pool, where you can watch these massive creatures laze in the water. In the afternoon, begin your scenic drive back to Arusha, reflecting on the incredible sights and experiences of your safari, which concludes in the late afternoon.
