You will be met by our Naleyo Tours and Travels driver-guide, either at your hotel in Kigali or upon arrival at Kigali International Airport.
After a brief introduction to your safari, you will begin your scenic journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or Mgahinga National Park.
The drive takes you through Rwanda’s picturesque "Land of a Thousand Hills" into Uganda, the Pearl of Africa. You will cross the border via Katuna, stop for lunch in Kabale, and continue to Bwindi for an overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Transfer back to Kigali

After an early morning breakfast, your driver-guide will take you to the park for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers.
Gorilla trekking can take 2–7 hours, depending on where the gorillas nested the night before. You will spend one unforgettable hour with a habituated gorilla family, observing their behavior up close.
After lunch in the forest, return to the park headquarters for a short ceremony, then transfer back to Kigali or the airport for your onward journey.
