Transfer To Bwindi National Park /Rushaga South -Visit Ellen Campus

After breakfast, you set off from Kigali for a scenic three-hour drive through Rwanda’s lush countryside to Volcanoes National Park, where a breathtaking chain of volcanoes dominates the horizon.

Here, you visit the Ellen Campus, a world-class conservation and education centre dedicated to protecting gorillas and training future conservationists.

Continuing to the Uganda border, you cross smoothly with an East Africa Visa and arrive at Four Gorilla Lodge in Rushaga South. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon at leisure as you prepare for your upcoming gorilla trekking adventure.

Gorilla Trekking In Bwindi Np| Rushaga Sector

After an early breakfast, you head to the Bwindi National Park offices in Rushaga for a briefing on your gorilla trekking adventure. Here, you learn about trekking guidelines and are assigned a gorilla family to track. Led by experienced rangers and supported by local porters, you trek through the dense forest, following trails to where the gorillas were last seen.

The journey can range from gentle to challenging, depending on the terrain and the gorillas’ location. Once you find them, you spend an unforgettable hour observing their behaviour in their natural habitat.

Afterwards, return to Four Gorilla Lodge for a well-deserved rest and relaxation.
