Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Early morning after having breakfast at your hotel in Arusha city at around 0800hrs you will be picked up by your driver guide and depart straight to Tarangire National Park where the drive is approximately 2.5 hours to the gate. Tarangire National Park is located in the northern part of Tanzania with a wide variety of animals and landscapes whereby the best part is the elephant herds. It is known to be the park that has the greatest concentration of African elephants and the ancient baobab trees. Lunch will be served inside the park and after that, you will drive straight to your accommodation in Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Today we start the day early in the morning, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will experience a morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on Earth, descend the 600m high walls to the floor of the crater and get up close with one of Africa’s seven Natural Wonders. Ngorongoro crater is now classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it is considered as one of the wonders of the Natural World. The concentration of wildlife is the greatest in the continent and it's one of the very rare locations where you can witness the black rhino. All of the Big Five (rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, and elephant) live in this wonderful caldera. However other wildlife includes zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more lives here. Birds include flamingoes on the soda lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more. In the afternoon, you will continue with game drive later ascend the crater and continue to Serengeti National Park to your accommodation for dinner and your overnight.

After breakfast, you will start with an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. The word Serengeti originates from the Maasai tribe, and the word “Siringiti” means endless plains. The park covers a total area of approximately 14,763 square kilometers with more than 2 million mammals inhabiting the park. The great annual migration involves more than a million wildebeests accompanied by some 250,000 zebras and antelopes and it is one of the 7 wonders of the world. This is exactly what makes this park the most famous park.
Lunch will be served at a picnic site and proceed with your final game drive in Serengeti before driving straight to your accommodation in Karatu for refreshments, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

Early after breakfast drive to Lake Manyara national park with lunch boxes for game drive, Lake Manyara National Park is a wildlife viewing destination which is located in the western direction from Arusha and in the northern part of Tanzania. Lake Manyara National Park is named for the shallow Salt Lake that occupies a large percent of the parks land, the lake is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. On our exploration of the park, we will see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and with some luck, lions lounging on trees. The park is known for its diverse landscapes; not only open grassy plains but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab dotted cliffs. Activities such as canoeing, bird watching as well as photography take place along this lake as tourists explore around the national park. Enjoy your lunch box inside the park and After lunch, you will drive back to Arusha.
