Upon your arrival at the airport, we’ll be there to welcome you. Depending on when you land, you can choose between a guided city tour or a short hike to Kilima Moto, where a stunning sunset over Arusha awaits. It’s an ideal way to kick off your journey and gently ease into the pace of safari life. For the best experience, we recommend an afternoon arrival giving you time to unwind and soak in the serene surroundings before your safari adventure begins.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

The journey from Arusha to Tarangire National Park takes around two hours. Once we arrive, we’ll dive straight into a full-day game drive, covering some of the park’s prime wildlife-viewing areas. Famous for its dense elephant population, Tarangire also offers opportunities to see top predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, alongside iconic grazers such as wildebeest, buffalo, giraffes, impalas, and gazelles. The park’s signature baobab trees and meandering riverbeds add to the dramatic scenery and unforgettable wildlife moments.

As evening falls, we’ll settle into our authentic wilderness camp nestled within the park. Here, you’ll be able to relax in the quiet solitude of the bush offering a more peaceful and intimate experience than the busier safari camps of the Serengeti. It’s an ideal end to a day surrounded by nature.

The day kicks off with a sunrise game drive in Tarangire National Park, beginning at 6:00 AM. This early hour offers prime wildlife viewing, as animals are most active in the cool, quiet morning. We’ll spend the early hours exploring the park, taking full advantage of the calm before the midday heat and increased traffic. By late morning, we’ll exit the park and make our way to Highview Hotel, where you can unwind with a leisurely lunch and enjoy some well-deserved rest.

Day 4

Karatu to Serengeti National Park

Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we’ll set off toward Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route. Along the way, we’ll pause at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint a perfect spot to stretch your legs, capture stunning panoramic photos, and admire the vast crater floor below.

Continuing our drive, we’ll reach the Serengeti in the afternoon. Following lunch, you’ll head out on an evening game drive through the Seronera region, famed for its dense wildlife populations and frequent sightings of big cats. As the day winds down, we’ll arrive at the Seronera Campsite, where you’ll spend the night immersed in the raw beauty of the Serengeti a true wilderness camping experience, complete with the nighttime sounds of the savannah.

Day 5

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

After enjoying an early breakfast, we’ll head out on a morning game drive through various parts of the Serengeti, seeking out more incredible wildlife sightings. This drive offers a second chance to see animals that may have been missed the previous day, as the behavior and visibility of wildlife change with the shifting light and time.

Around midday, we’ll return to camp for lunch and start getting ready for the journey back toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Later in the afternoon, we’ll reach Simba Campsite, perched on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll spend the night here, ready for an early descent into the crater the next morning one of the most memorable moments of the entire safari.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

Following an early breakfast, we’ll venture down into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive, focusing primarily on spotting the rare and endangered black rhino. These shy animals are among the most difficult to find within the crater, making any sighting particularly special. The Ngorongoro Crater is renowned for its exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities, thanks to its unique enclosed ecosystem that makes it easier to see a wide array of animals such as lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, and more, all set against the breathtaking scenery of the crater floor.

After a picnic lunch inside the crater, we’ll embark on a final game drive before climbing back up the crater wall to start our return trip. We’ll pause briefly at camp to pick up any leftover belongings, then continue onward to Arusha, bringing an unforgettable safari experience to a close.
