Day 1

After your early morning breakfast, you will be picked up by an Otter African Safaris guide and start your 4 to 5-hour journey to Murchison Falls National Park in Masindi in Western Uganda. You will have a first stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola, where you will have an hour of rhino tracking experience. After the rhino tracking experience, you will proceed to Masindi for lunch before proceeding to visit the top of Murchison Falls, the powerful falls where the Nile squeezes through an 8m wide gorge and plunges with a thunderous roar into the Devil’s Cauldron, creating a trademark rainbow.
From the falls, you will continue in the park. You will have a short evening game drive. Later, you'll check in at the lodge. Your overnight stay and dinner will be at the lodge.

Day 2

You'll have your breakfast very early in the morning, depart for an early morning game drive as early as 6 am, and head into the park and look out for viewing the different mammals such as elephants, lions, leopards, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes like Uganda kob, topi, eland, bushbucks. You will have time to relax for lunch.
After lunch, you will join the boat cruise to take you to the bottom of Murchison Falls as you spot aquatic wildlife such as hippos, Nile crocodiles, and water birds. On return, you'll catch up with sunset view before dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3

After your morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge in Murchison Falls National Park and start your journey to Kibale National Park in Fort Portal in Western Uganda through the tea plantations and rolling hills to reach Fort Portal town. While in Fort Portal, you will have an en-route lunch and continue your journey to Kibale National Park. After checking
into the lodge, you will embark on a guided nature walk in the Bigodi Wetlands. You have a chance to spot 138 bird species.

Day 4
Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then report to the park headquarters at Kanyanchu at 7:30 am for a briefing by the guides about the dos and don’ts while with the chimpanzees. You will then embark on a trek in search of the chimpanzees. Once you have spotted a group, you will spend one hour with them observing their different behaviours. You will also spot other primates in the forest. After the chimpanzee tracking experience, you will be awarded a chimpanzee tracking certificate. Afterward, you will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will check out of the lodge and start the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 5

You'll have your breakfast very early in the morning, depart for an early morning game drive as early as 6 am to the rolling plains of Uganda’s second largest National Park, and look out for lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs, leopards, Uganda Kobs, hyenas, and hippos. For any birder, there are several birds to see during the drive. You'll return to the lodge for some rest time and lunch.
After lunch at the lodge, you will go for a 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lakes George and Edward. You will surely be fascinated by the concentrations of giant hippos, buffalo, elephants, and crocodiles, among others. You will also see many varieties of birds at the water's shore. You will have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 6

After your early morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park later in the afternoon, where you will check into the lodge. Afterward, you will head out for a Batwa cultural experience, which is one of the oldest indigenous communities in Uganda, where you will have an opportunity to learn about the traditions and ways of life of the Batwa people. Afterward, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, as you prepare for the gorilla trekking experience the following day.

Day 7

You will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then report to the park headquarters at 7:30 am for a briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. Remember to carry your packed lunch and enough drinking water since you may stay in the forest up to the afternoon in search of these gentle giants in their natural environment. Gorilla trekking exercise is physically demanding but an exciting activity! You may need to hire a porter to assist you during tracking. These are readily available at the park headquarters. The time allowed to spend with gorillas is 1 hour once you have found them. This is enough to ask all the questions about their behaviour. You'll return to the lodge after tracking and freshen up.
In the evening, Batwa pygmies will be invited to entertain you with their dances, storytelling after you have dinner and overnight. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at your lodge.

After your morning breakfast, you will exit the lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and set off to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport. Along the way, you will have a stop at the Equator in Kayabwe for memorable photos and the famous water experiment that shows that Earth is separated into the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. You will have a chance to enjoy both hemispheres. You will have an en-route lunch. You will continue your journey to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport.
