Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then report at the park headquarters at 7:30am for a briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. Remember to carry your packed lunch and enough drinking water since you may stay in the forest up to afternoon in search of these gentle giants in their natural environment. Gorilla trekking exercise is physically demanding but an exciting activity. You may need to hire a porter to assist you during tracking and these are readily available at the park headquarters. Time allowed to spend with gorillas is 1 hour when you have found them and this is enough to ask all the questions about their behaviour as you will take as many pictures as you want. After the gorilla tracking you will be awarded a Gorilla Trekking certificate to show that you successfully tracked gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
