Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your All Wheels Experience guide and transferred to your charming lodge in Arusha (transfer time: approx. 1–1.5 hours). Take the rest of the day to relax after your journey. Your lodge is set in peaceful surroundings with beautiful gardens and views of Mount Meru. If you arrive early, optional activities (at extra cost) include a visit to a nearby coffee estate or a guided Arusha city tour to explore local markets and culture. Later, enjoy a hearty dinner and a personal briefing about your safari adventure. Your journey begins here—with comfort, care, and anticipation.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5 hours). Known for its ancient baobabs and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers an exciting start to your safari. Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting lions, zebras, giraffes, and many bird species near the Tarangire River. Enjoy a bush-style picnic lunch under the shade of acacia trees. In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge in Karatu (approx. 1.5 hours), nestled in the highlands. Optional evening: Enjoy a relaxing massage at the lodge spa or a local village walk to learn more about Iraqw culture (extra cost). Wind down with a peaceful dinner overlooking the hills.

Start early for a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park (approx. 3-3.5 hours with game en route), passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at a panoramic viewpoint over the Ngorongoro Crater for a photo opportunity. Enter the Serengeti and enjoy a game drive through the central plains, famous for big cats, massive herds, and breathtaking landscapes. Lunch is served picnic-style in the bush. Your mid-range lodge or tented camp offers stunning views and warm hospitality in the heart of the wild. Fall asleep to the sounds of nature under the stars.

Wake up to another exciting day in the iconic Serengeti. After a hearty breakfast at your lodge or tented camp, set out for a full-day game drive to explore different areas of the park. Your guide will tailor the day based on wildlife movements and your personal interests—whether that means tracking the Great Migration (seasonal), searching for elusive leopards in the riverine forests, or spending time with a pride of lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic spot under an acacia tree or by a hippo pool. The Serengeti is vast, and this full day allows you to soak in its rhythm and grandeur. Optional add-ons include a sunrise hot air balloon safari (advance booking required, extra cost) or an evening sundowner setup to toast the wilderness (extra cost). Return to your camp in the late afternoon to share stories around the campfire and fall asleep once more under the wild African sky.

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater gate (approx. 2-2.5 Hours). Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by 600-meter walls, the crater is home to a dense concentration of wildlife including rhinos, lions, flamingos, and massive buffalo herds. Have lunch near a hippo pool in the crater floor before ascending and returning to your lodge in Karatu. Optional activity: Visit a local community project or enjoy a fireside storytelling session with a local guide (extra cost). Tonight, enjoy a special farewell dinner and toast to your unforgettable journey.

After breakfast, drive to nearby Lake Manyara National Park (approx. 45 minutes), known for its lush forests, hot springs, and tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a morning game drive along the lake’s edge, watching elephants, monkeys, flamingos, and perhaps a rare lion lounging in the trees. Exit the park by midday and transfer to Arusha (approx. 2.5–3 hours). Depending on your departures schedule, we can arrange a freshen-up stop or a farewell meal before your transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport (approx. 1–1.5 hours). Optional activity: Visit a local artisan market in Arusha for last-minute souvenirs. Fly home with incredible memories from All Wheels Experience.
