Day 1

Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from the lodge and transferred to Arusha Airport. Depart for Tarangire National Park, carrying lunch boxes, for a game drive. Once you finish the game drive, we will transfer you to the lodge to relax, have dinner and have your overnight stay.

The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River, which winds its way through the parklands, the only source of water for wildlife here during the Dry season. The park is also well-known for its large elephant herds, giant scattered baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. You will see a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savannahs. You will get a chance to see a lion stalking its prey and leopards relaxing in the trees above.

Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you back to your lodge to relax, have dinner and stay overnight.

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park for a game drive and enjoy lunch in a suitable place inside the park. We will continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching the camp.

Serengeti National Park is renowned for its vast migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest, which gather together during calving season, depending on the rainy season. Be prepared to witness resident predators, including leopards, cheetahs, and lions, fulfilling their roles in the circle of life.

After breakfast, we proceed on a full-day game drive within the park while carrying lunch boxes. Exploring the Serengeti, you'll have the opportunity to spot a variety of animals with the help of a guide. In the afternoon, we will enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the park's best picnic sites. After the game drive, you will be transferred to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti National Park is located in northern Tanzania and is a World Heritage Site occupying an area of around 15,000 square kilometres, with over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species. This area is home to massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the Dry season. However, the Northern Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife, including lion, elephant, hippo, giraffe, crocodile and the rare oribi antelope.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, we will depart the Serengeti with en-route game viewing, carrying a lunch box, and proceed to the gates of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will then enter the crater, where you will have the opportunity to observe a variety of animals living within the crater.

The Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and one of Africa's natural wonders. It was formed by an explosion approximately 2 to 3 million years ago. The area is home to approximately 30,000 large mammals that reside there year-round, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as a variety of birds such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Be prepared to see many animals here within a short time.

After the game drive, we will drive you to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and an overnight stay.

Transfer from Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, flight to Zanzibar

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and then drive up to Lake Manyara National Park to enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch. Once we finish our game drive, we will drive you to Kilimanjaro Airport, ready for your transfer back to Zanzibar, where the safari ends

Lake Manyara National Park covers an area of only 330 square kilometres (127 square miles), of which up to 200 square kilometres (77 square miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. Lake Manyara is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, hippos, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos and even a legendary tree-climbing lion! At some point during your game drive, you will get out of your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos.
